Preventive Services
Keeping your teeth and mouth healthy is really pretty simple: just
do your best every day to keep it clean. Typically, that means brushing
after meals, carefully flossing at least once a day, and getting a professional
check-up/cleaning every six months. And as simple as these steps sound,
we still take the time to work individually with each patient to show
them where and how they might improve their home hygiene. We provide
all kinds of practical tips
like how to evaluate and cure bad breath!
Our amazing halimeter analyzes odor-causing elements in your mouth;
if it registers a high concern level, we'll provide a revolutionary
breath kit that your family and friends will thank you for years to
come.
Our preventive services include:
- Hygiene & Cleaning
- Regular Check-Ups
- Dental Sealants
- Personalized Patient Education
- Nightguards to protect against Bruxism & TMJ
- Athletic Mouthguards
- Rotodent® Toothbrushes
- Comprehensive Breath Analysis & Treatment
Restorative Services
There's certainly no question that age, stress, accidents, and just
life itself can take a toll on your teeth. But with today's advanced
technology and materials, together with our specialized training, we
can restore and rebuild beautiful smiles
often in just one or two
simple appointments. In many cases, we can apply the new BIOLASE technology,
which allows us to gently and precisely perform work on both soft and
hard tissues without drills, shots, bleeding, or discomfort. The laser
even sterilizes as it works.
As an additional benefit to our patients, Dr. Stenvall has background
training in anesthesiology and is certified to perform oral sedation
to reduce the concern that often surrounds complex restorative procedures.
What's more, we go that 'extra mile': Dr. Stenvall follows up with all
major procedures by calling our patients at home to check on their progress.
Our restorative services include the following:
- Tooth-Colored Fillings
- Bonding
- All-Porcelain Crowns
- Porcelain Veneers
- Bridges
- Full & Partial Dentures
- Root Canals
- All Aspects of Oral Surgery
- Dental Implant Restorations
Gum Care Services
Gum disease is one of the most common and damaging oral health conditions
you can have. Unfortunately, most of the symptoms are silent until it's
progressed quite far
and that's why we urge our patients to maintain
regular professional check-ups. We know how to spot and arrest gum disease
in its earliest stages; and with our BIOLASE technology we provide fast,
effective, and comfortable treatment of the disease if it's gotten out
of hand before you see us.
Our gum care services include the following:
- Charting and Diagnostic Services
- In Office Therapy: Non-Surgical Therapies & BIOLASE Technology
Cosmetic Services
Few people give a lot of thought to changing or improving the look
of their smiles. Maybe that's because we all just get used to having
the teeth that we have. But with today's technology and advanced materials,
it's amazingly simple to change darkened or discolored teeth into a
light, healthy smile; bond and shape chipped, uneven teeth into a more
pleasing, balanced smile, or even straighten slightly crooked teeth
without
braces! And for those who venture to make these types of changes, they're
amazed at the positive impact of not only their new look
but their
entire outlook!
Just ask us about how we could make your smile really 'smile' for you:
- Tooth-Colored Fillings
- Whitening
- Bonding
- Porcelain Veneers
- All-Porcelain Crowns, Onlays, and Inlays
- Full Mouth Recontouring
- Snap On Smile

New Product Highlight: Satelec Electronic Analgesia System
Performing excellent, in-depth hygiene is always a challenge: intense
cleaning and scaling can be tough to endure even though you know it's
good for you! But now we've added a new bit of technology to our practice
that has our hygiene patients smiling all the way through their appointments.
It's a simple hand-held electronic analgesia system connected to the
hygienist's ultrasonic scaler, allowing you to manage your level of
sensation throughout the procedure. How? As the hygienist cleans your
teeth, you simply adjust the amount of power according to your own sensitivity
threshold, and the device responds by reducing the excitability of your
nerve fibers to eliminate pain at that level. Just ask Dr. Stenvall
for more details!
